Write Me A Lil’ Something

It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else. (Erma Bombeck)

Hi everyone.

What you see in here is the realization of my dreams, to have all the nice words in one place to help us through life’s thrilling roller coaster ride. I hope you will benefit from it as much as I do. Thank you very much for coming and I hope you’ll make this place as your own too. And oh, before you go, please leave a few of your good words here and a link to your place if you have one. Feel free to Blogroll me on your site if you like.

Best wishes,
Exzede

  1. Hi, was looking at some of the quotes. Nice collection you have. Would like to add one more in the category of success : ” Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm ” – Winston Churchil. Wishing you all the best for your efforts.

    Destination Infinity.

  2. Hi Destination Infinity, nice to have you here and thanks for the contribution. we have added the quotation and put in under ‘success’. visit us some time.

  3. Hey,

I wanted to leave a little note saying how pleasantly surprised I was to stumble upon your blog. I found it through the tag “kindness.” The first post I read was Care kindness, understanding- such a beautifuly inspiring quote. I wasn’t able to leave a comment there as comments were closed.

I’m new here at wordpress. And new to the blogging scene. My blog is called Don’t be sad. Currently I’ve started to build up a collection of Random acts of kindness, so please do visit and I encourage you to submit yours.

I’ll certainly visit back to explore you blog further.

    Kind regards,

    Don’t be sad

PS: I love the layout-I wonder-ful. I can’t help but wonder what type of tree you have there in your custom banner. Do you know?

  4. @ dontbesadblog, salaam and thanks for coming. sorry but the comments at the quotation itself is set as closed so that when browsing, the quotes will come out clean and uncluttered. those words were already beautiful anyway, so I figured there’s no need to comment further.

The book ‘Don’t Be Sad’ is very popular but I haven’t got a chance to read it. Good that you’ve covered it in your blog so now I could frequent and maybe contribute a little. Nice blog you have and I’ll Blogroll it.

Glad you like the layout. It’s plain basic and since the content is word based, I don’t have too much of images. I don’t know what tree that is but to me, it symbolises people who had long gone, but their wise words live on.

  5. And peace be upon you too exzede,

Thank you for replying- really- and also for coming over and commenting on Don’t be sad, may The God give you the best reward. I’m glad that our paths have crossed and The God willing, I hope they lead to Wisdom’s path.

I’ve added you to my blogroll- I think readers and Don’t be sad will really benefit from treading along wisdom’s path, here- and as I reminder to myself to come and gain some wisdom when I’m on-line.

    Kind regards,

    Don’t be sad

no sweat, friends are just a few clicks away – exzede

p/s: how you make it “all black”?

yours have much more things in the sidebars while mine is kept very minimal. I used css edit to remove the big red bar. still trying to adjust here and there. – exzede

  9. Peace be upon you exzede,

I’ve been away for sometime. I was delighted to see you’ve opened the comments here– really. And the new header is very though provoking– especially the path way leading to the clouds. On reflection the old one was a little gloomy.

    Kind regards,

    Dont be sad

Thanks very much for the comments and welcome back.

  10. @don’t be sad, it’s most pleasing to know that, like me, others have also benefited from the postings. that is the intention when this blog was first created.

I wished God gives me the barokah of time so that I could roam around your blog which is full of goodies, and visit our neighbours. God willing I will do that and leave some comments on a regular basis in time to come, I hope. Thanks for stopping by and may peace be with you always.

  11. How beautiful. I don’t want to say too much, why detract from the beautiful sentiments here, they say enough. I will blogroll you if that is ok. Much love

  12. @ Sandy, it’s much a joy to be visited by a neighbour than to visit one, that’s for sure. All I can offer is these beautiful words of others. Unlike you, I can’t write that well. And it’s also been a great honour to be blogrolled, so one good turns deserves another. Take care.

  13. i love your blog! i’m going to add you to my blogroll. 🙂

Thank you. I’d like to view your blog too but you did not leave your url…

  15. Salaam HechBi, such a nice feeling to have an ole’ friend dropped in. Don’t have a blog? Not yet, you mean. Let me know when you have one.

    salaam

  16. Hi Exzede,

Your blog looks interesting. A lot of useful quotes about life. I don’t have a blog yet, but planning to have one in the future.

How come I don’t see http://www.quotepotato.com as a list in your resources? what quotations page have you been using?

    Salam,

    Ruth

  17. Hello.

I love the “live a life that matters” – that’s great. Another quote I love is “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom” by Anais Nin. I have a little slideshare too that I’d like to share with you. It’s called “Dream Big”: http://www.slideshare.net/smorehead/dream-big-2848147. I have just started my own blog at smorehead.wordpress.com in which I am exploring topics such as integrity and judgment, basically living with and by principles. In fact, I searched wordpress.com for “principles” and it brought me to your site. Thank you for sharing these words.

    Warm regards,
    Stephanie Morehead

  18. Thank you Stephanie, for coming in here and leaving your comments. Following you now on twitter so we’ll get more connected.

      Warm regards,
      Stephanie

  21. Hi, I was looking for wolves and I found you! To be more precise I was looking for the Cherokee tail of two wolves. So glad I found it. I also have some quotes on my blog, so hop on over if you’d like to see them.

so much time has come and gone. so many unspoken words left unsung. reach out your heart and your hand. don’t let her be alone when you walk away into that big promised land in the sky. there’s still time, so do it now. say the words you know you’ve found. and wrap your daughter with your love. for a mothers love truly is felt through eternity.
