New Year Thoughts

What we produce comes from who we are spiritually. When we find ourselves in a beautiful place inside, we can create rare, noble things.

When you put your force and energy behind something, the results will be powerful.

Each fresh insight makes you see the world a little differently.

Economy is the art of making the most out of life.

Inner resources make us live fully and creatively with what we have.

Give yourself time, time for all aspects of improving the quality of your life.

Choose to be alone regularly. The whole world opens up when you are able to dwell on your own thoughts. It is a luxury you can choose.

Concentrate on your capacity to live fully. It is not a question of expanding your energy, but using it in fulfilling ways.

It is always the accumulation of the little details, the small steps, that cumulatively make a big difference in our life.

The realisation of self is only possible if one is productive, if one can give birth to ones own potentialities.

All that we are are the result of what we have thought.

Whenever we don’t do what we should, we can kid ourselves only so long. Eventually, we have to stop blaming others for our own failures.

Always do right. This will gratify some and astonish the rest.

Always think about the big picture.

The bright side is the light side. Always look up and remain optimistic.

Great accomplishments are the result of a well lived, well defined life.

The more you learn, the less you realise you know. That is a sure sign of maturity.

Give up gender based roles. Don’t think this is a man’s life; think this is a full life.

Whether we’re married or not, our journey is individual. we don’t have joint orbituaries. We can love others but we cannot live our life only for or through others.

Life is not a popularity contest. Accept that some people won’t like you and walk on.

Accept that nothing can remain perfect. Just enjoy the moment when it brings you joy and remember it.

See with your heart. The really important things aren’t tangible, like happiness, which is very elusive.

Whenever we aim high, we live with greater intensity and satisfaction.

Our fortune is flexible; the higher our sight, the better our fate.

When I have a lot of things to do, I find it calming for me to make a list. It is amazing to see how much we can accomplish by ordering our priorities and beginnings.

Friends, books, a cheerful heart and clear conscience are the most choice companions we have here.

One always has time enough, if one applies it well.

Intuition becomes increasingly valuable in the new information society precisely because there is so much data.

Lives based on ‘having’ are less free than lives based on either on ‘doing’ or on ‘being’.

The greatest thing in life is not where you are, but the direction in which you are moving.

Lives is ours to be spent, not to be saved.

At home, the dinner hour should be more than eating. It should be about teaching, listening and loving.

Time is a resource to be used creatively, inventively and imaginatively. Be sure you have more and more passion to expand it. What inspires you will take up most of your time.

Enthusiasm is never an orphan, it multiplies.

Let our concern be peace of mind. Keep unlovely thoughts afar.

When you have nothing to prove, you can enrich the time shared with your friends by being attentive, open, sympathetic and loving.

Taste is nothing but delicate good sense.

Treasure magical moments. You can carry them with you wherever your are, forever.

Whenever you are true to yourself, you will also be true to others.

If you cannot find an hour in a day to reflect, read, create, do some odd jobs, or leisurely listen to music, you should make some changes in your life.

There are occasions when it is undoubtedly better to incur loss than to make gain.

Winning is the result of a process. It’s how you play the game that matters.

Think of crying as singing. Don’t keep it inside. It’s wonderful to be moved by life’s sorrows and beauties.

I was not born to be forced. I will breathe after my own fashion. If a plant cannot live according to its nature, it dies, and so does a person.

No one should ever make us do something that is in conflict with our core nature, our identity and our personality.

The art of living is the highest of all callings. It requires our individual attention. Commitment to work all areas of existence so that we can experience pleasure in the changing realities of each precious moment.

Don’t tell people what you are starting to do. Your strength comes from commitment. You will not know exactly the nature of the undertaking until you see it in motion. Make things happen…quietly.

Nothing happens unless first a dream.

Our decisions, not the conditions of our lives; determine our destiny.

With so much going on, it helps to take a step back periodically and focus on direction, vision, and values.

I will focus on where in my life I need to make true commitment. By making commitments, opportunities will continually flow in my direction.

I will encourage more openness and risk taking, starting with my own actions as well as those around me.

The only real security a person can have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability.

Your responsibility has moved from making decisions to developing people.

Continual learning is a challenge that is rewarding and reflects the true essence of leadership.

We are not the same person this year as last, nor are those we loved. It is a happy chance if we, changing, continue to love a changed person.

Every morning when you arise, say out loud: I believe this is going to be a wonderful day. I believe I can successfully handle all the problems that will arise. I feel good physically, mentally and emotionally.

Don’t opt out when things become tough, it’s never too late to make changes.

If we are still doing anything this year the same way we did it last year, then, we are behind the times.
